Are you interested in learning more about Sonoma County’s local politics, government, and community events? At WCYD we strive in creating tomorrow’s leaders, today, by challenging the status quo and working towards a future worth fighting for.
MAKE A DONATION
Any contribution you can spare assists us in hosting regular membership meetings, club events, and socials, as well as sending a delegation of members to the California Democratic Conventions and various other Democratic events on a statewide level.
ATTEND AN EVENT
WCYD holds its regular meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month. Other events include tabling, socials, and co-lead events with Sonoma County Democratic Party and the various other Democratic lead clubs both regionally and county-wide.
Wine Country Young Democrats (WCYD) is Sonoma County’s only Youth-led Democratic chapter under the California Young Democrats (CYD), which is part of the Young Democrats of America (YDA). We are also chartered with the Sonoma County Democratic Party Central Committee (SCDPCC).
Regular membership in WCYD is open to people who are between the ages of thirteen and thirty-five years and either live or work in Sonoma County. Members must be registered Democrats or intend to register as Democrats when eligible.
